Overview
Welcome to the Michigan
Air Emissions Reporting System (MAERS) - Michigan's web-based application used in the collection
of emission data from the permitted sources/facilities. The Michigan Department of Environmental
Quality (DEQ), Air Quality Division (AQD) maintains MAERS reports for commercial, industrial,
and governmental sources of air pollution in Michigan. The MAERS System offers new ways to
report Emissions Inventory (EI) 24-hours a day, seven days a week - all from a single website.
MAERS Internet Home Page
The MAERS Internet Home
Page serves as a clearinghouse for MAERS information. This site provides an overview of the
AQD, Emissions Reporting Program, up-to-date MAERS news, information on where to go for help,
as well as access to all the MAERS Forms, Instructions, and other guidance documents. You
can access the MAERS Home Page at www.michigan.gov/deqair.
MAERS System Users Guide
The MAERS System Users Guide provides
instructions on using the MAERS System under the Help Menu. You can also access the guide
via the MAERS Home Page (see above).
As MAERS services continue to
expand, the system will provide increasing opportunities to meet business needs through the
ease and convenience of Michigan's online services.
